
Dewey O. King passed away late Monday night, September 22, 2014 at the age of 85. He went peacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side.
Dewey is survived by his loving wife Anna King, and brother Gordon (Jane) King, as well as his children D. Martin (Linda) King, Barbara (Jim) Wesco, Holli (John) Pfeifer, Laura Martin, Aimee (John) Grant, Tom (Jill) King, Rodney (Kim) Storm, Marcia (Mark) Woldahl, his 17 grandchildren and his 8 great grandchildren.
He was born on August 2, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to H. Chester King and Lillian Scobee.
He surpassed the opportunity of college and instead joined the Marine Core on two separate occasions. In 1949 he walked proudly in the Truman Inauguration as a United States Marine.
Dewey was a great sports enthusiast and played basketball, baseball, boxing, golf and was a Contract Bridge Life Master.
